This GPRS/GSM shield is based on the SIM808 chip which is a 2-in-1 GSM and GPS module from SIMCOM. The SIM808 supports a quad band network with a 66 channel GPS tracker. This module is equipped with a 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack for easy headphone and microphone connection. With this shield you can send and receive voice calls, SMS messages and GPRS data with the Arduino.
