This Dual Channel Motor shield uses 2 discrete MOSFET H-bridge, which is designed to drive up to two DC motor with max current at 8A per channel. This shield is made up of 8x N-channel MOSFET IRF3205S and 4x IR2104 half bridge motor controllers. This motor shield can be controlled simply by applying logic 0 or 1 to the direction pins for that motor and a PWM signal to the speed pin, this way speed and direction of two separate motors can be controlled independently.
